The Hermitage
The Hermitage in Kelso is a fine Georgian villa built in the early 1800s. It is set in a large garden, down a quiet no-through lane, yet is only a few minutes' level walk from Kelso town centre. There is ample off-road parking, and secure storage for bicycles and other large sporting equipment. There are also facilities for drying sports clothes and equipment. The Grade B listed building has been tastefully fitted with antique and period furnishings, which enhance the period features of the building. A high standard of comfortable and friendly accommodation has been created, for up to six guests. Breakfasts are served in the south-facing dining room, which has an open fire, lit on cold days.
