The Borders Tourist Board is a group of independent, tourism-related businesses, formed in June 2007. We have two main aims, firstly to offer cost-effective marketing to our members and secondly to promote The Borders as a tourist destination.

Hassendean B&B
Hassendean Bed and Breakfast opened in May 2009, and offers wonderful relaxing accommodation with fresh new amenities. It is a stones throw from Melrose, Denholm, Jedburgh and Hawick and is the perfect alternative to busy cities. Set in the Ruberslaw and Minto Hills, with panoramic views of the Borders, the only sounds you'll hear are birds chirping and sheep mewing. Take an early morning walk or pack your clubs and head for nearby Minto golf course with its 18 holes and superb views. Our mid-terraced converted farm cottage has two rooms designed for ultimate comfort, and off road parking. Fluffy duvets adorn our new full-sized mattresses. Each room has an en suite shower, television/dvd and complimentary tea or coffee. Enjoy our traditional home cooked Scottish or continental breakfast with homemade bread in our cosy breakfast room built just for our guests. Peruse the wall-to-wall bookshelves and dvd library, or just come down to read. This room is dedicated to your needs.
